The Superpower

How do we know the United States?
Most people will rightly describe USA as the world's largest democracy, as the world leader in various fields of trade and commerce, technology, defence, culture... the list keeps going.

What's most interesting about this country is its people.
"The US doesn't belong to one ethnicity" said one of my friends. Yes it doesn't... I thought in agreement..
There are so many US residents in the US who are immigrants.. who became a part of this nation to tap its ever rich resources.. amongst a not so high population. The United States is not just a union of states but also a union of people and culture of every part of this world.
The good thing was that the US was open to this kind of transformation. So many people could move to the US and become citizens, but, the country made sure that most people who made it as US citizens contributed big time in the advancement of the country.
It can be rightly said that a significant part of the country's development and advancement in the various fields can be attributed to immigrants that moved into this nation. These people were recognized and thus formed the 'Big American Dream' in the hearts of many people irrespective of their background.. except native Americans who.. it can be said.. took the entire thing for granted..
